It can also be used to upgrade any of the AT VM95 series of cartridges. The 'SH' (for Shibata) is the top of the tree in the Audio Technica AT VM95 range. Shibata styli are amongst the most costly to cut and are a diamond profile designed for exceptionally good detail retrieval and an unusually extended frequency response.
