Casavecchia alla Piazza di Gabriele Buondonno, Chianti Classico Riserva 2020 Ojai Vineyards Entwined within a complex deepA much more serious proposition than the regular Chianti. It is made out of the best grapes from low yielding, stony vineyards planted in the 1970s; the fruit is dark and dense, the tannins fine and chocolatey. It has balance and energy, and a little new wood adds to the complex spice notes on the very long finish.
